Pete, we can't view your genious. The image url you specified was "http://www.geocities.com/cyakman/clampmethods/2.jpg", but it doesn't exist. I checked the directory of "http://www.geocities.com/cyakman/clampmethods" and found a file called "ThirdHandJig.html", but from its contents, it's obviously not a html file. It's probably a jpg (which I couldn't view either). You'll need to upload another file so we can see what you're up to!

: Strips at the stems can get ornery when you have to twist 'em. This quick and
: dirty jig holds 2 or 3 of them together, and if the last one glued is run
: wild past the stem the new ones can be pinned to it. This allows both
: hands for seating the new strips, installing clamps and so forth. The slot
: has to be a very tight fit for this to work. If the clamping and twisting
: are done on the wild length past the stem, chances are better of having
: things line up correctly right at the stem.
