here is a site with lots of kayaks and each one has an outline drawing that includes deck lines. Each one is slightly different. The thread to the drawings is KAYAKS (from the left bar), then select a model such as NORDKAPP JUBILEE, then select DRAWINGS AND PICTURES.

The perimeter deck lines are a safety item and if you have every been over in rough water they can save your tush. If you lose your boat, you are in big trouble. The looks aren't perfect, but you have to decide if you are building a piece of floating furniture or a kayak.
