Exactly what I had In Mind :)

Hear in Fresno/Clovis we have a little shop called The Wood Shed. They carry a piece of about every wood known to man. They carry long pieces, planks and even little blocks about the size of your hand. Problem is, they charge an arm and leg for it, and that's not the REAL problem. If you want a strip, you have to buy the whole plank, as in $150 for $10 of wood you need. They claim they loose too much money on the saw kerf. So, you buy the whole piece and they will cut it for you. Can't justify buying a 1" x 6" x 10' long piece of purpleheart to get one or two 1/8" strips and have to take the whole piece. Sure is a gorgeous place to walk through. Heck, I love just looking at their sawdust, with all thc colors. :) Kinda like a dog going out in the park and rolling in the grass to smell like the surrounding area. Would love to just sprinkle that saw dust all over. :) They are the only place local that carries Okoume in the 3, 4, and 5mm sizes. They are high on that at around $40 to $60 a sheet. But, if I travel or order and have it shipped, it all works out about the same. Good luck in your little corner of Heaven! :)
