John -- Can you post the address? I maybe worth the drive from Indy. Thanks, Greg
I'm familiar with the county road system)

: Just 9 miles away from me in Union City, IN is a hardwood saw mill that cuts,
: kiln dries, planes, and now, I found out sells to individuals from their
: show room which is attached to their office workers building. It is all
: located on a country side road. The show room is full of lumber in various
: lengths and width and lengths and all planed to 1" thickess. All is
: clear with not one knot or blemish. They have cherry, popular, maple,
: walnut, ash, basswood and more. I felt like I was in heaven. They sell any
: of it for .50 cents a pound. I bought a piece of ash 1"x3"x5'
: for $1.86. The receptionist got up from her computer, and weight it up for
: me. What a find.
