That is exactly what I did on my Guillemot S&G (from 17'plus to 15'6"- worked like a charm. I think it should work with about any design, but don't hold me responsible if you're going to be cutting up expensive marine plywood (I was using luaun and was willing to risk a few $8 sheets).

: I currently have a set of plans for a CLC CH17LT. I am looking to build a 16
: foot version. My question is if there is an easy way to resize the
: measurements on my current plans or should I just purchase a new set of
: plans for the 16 foot version? It would seem to me that I could use the
: same measurements using a shorter distance between measuring points for
