Thanks, Rob. I saw you demonstrate your hot-glue technique at the last Newfound Rendezvous, and I do remember you using the hot glue on the exterior between stations. I had planned to do that as well, but I found that the C&B strips were well-seated between stations. Those yellow glue sticks for wood really hold well. I've been pleasantly surprised at how easy it's been to strip the hull without staples.
