Mark:

The hull shape pretty much just emerges as the panels are stitched together. I just eyeball things to look for fair lines and make adjustments as needed. I believe that the most common adjustment needed in S&G hulls is along the keel line. If the panels aren't cut perfectly there will be some dips along this line rather than a perfectly fair curve. But sanding or planing a bit off the panels at the offending spots is quick and easy. As I mentioned, the hull shape of the Cormorant is very attractive so you'll be happy with the shape that emerges once you've corrected for any slight "unfair" spots.

It seems like multi-chined hulls might benefit from temporary forms or bulkheads to assume their proper shape, but to me it doesn't seem necessary for hardchined hulls like the Cormorants.
