Finally, I went down to see my resin dealer. He told me that his resins dont't cure under 65 F and above 80% of relative humidity. Actually he told me that the room temperature should be in the 90's to achieve a decent curing time.

Out of this thresholds (spelling?) I would only get some kind of sticky jelly... Exactly what I've got.

The only problem is that is winter down here, and I've got no electricity nor gas in my workshop (It's a typical banana republic workshop!).

So this is what I'm going to do:

a) DON'T GIVE UP (I've already invested $ 600, 250 hrs and a finger tip!) b) Get rid of that mucus thing I've got over the deck (I'll be scraping, knifing and sanding for two whole days) c) Wait for a sunny day. d) Build some kind of green house (just a plastic transparent tent). e) Call my lovely Julie for some spiritual support. f) Glass the deck once again.
