As the father of a Coast Guard Petty Officer the CG approved PFDs were first and the floats are on the list. Anyone know the size (or a source) for the floats for a Guillemot double? Actually, I used inflated boat bumpers on launch day although we never lost site of the kayak from the beach. And now I can purchase in VOLUME given all the requests for Kayaks from the kids. Anyone have a design for a kayak cradle? I have to have it done and to Cape Cod by November!

: Beautiful boat! This is just a friendly safety reminder that if you don't
: install bulkheads, then to be sure to put inflatable floats in BOTH ends
: of the boat. Without them it will be impossible to get back in and pump
: out a swamped double. Improper floatation in the boat is one of the themes
: in "Deep Trouble."
