Tim.,

I used a hole saw to cut 2" diameter x 1/8" lauan washers witn 1/4" centered holes. I then broke the prongs off the tee-nuts and epoxied them to the lauan washers with the barrels through 1/4" pilot hole. Then I counterbored the the plastic Keepers rail mounting holes to accept the height of the tee-nut barrels extending through the lauan washers. Then I attached the tee-nut/lauan washer assemply to the Keeper rails with stainless steel machine bolts. Next I filled the hole of the tee-nuts up to the bottom of the bolt shafts with toilet seal bees' wax using a tooth pick (keeping it off the gluing surfaces its a good mold release). I then buttered the bottoms of the lauan washers with THICKENED epoxy and taped the assemblies to the hull. I had masking tape to make the correct locations. The next day I took the screws and rails off and scraped off the epoxy goobers.

I didn't use any glass cloth or have to counterbore the plywood washers for the tee-nuts. I just used extra care to fully butter the mating surfaces with a thick enough layer of epoxy to make up for the thickness of the tee-nut flange.
