Prolonged exposure is a major problem but intense single exposures are dangerous too. My brother works in a mine and if there is a isocyanate spill they must suit up and use a fresh air respirator for clean up. Their maximum allowable exposure with all the equipment is 15 minutes. This is a sensitivity issue, once you reach your tolerance you can not have ANY further exposure for the rest of your LIFE!!

Your chances of no effects are good with ventilation and a respirator. The best anyone can do is wear what they have.
