Tony, on a bike your weight is carried by feet and arms as well as the tookus. The nerve in question is a different one. Making a seat that supports the fat and muscle of the butt will do more than 3/8" of flo-gel since the flow-gel will go wherever it's container will take it. I've found good butt first aid by using therma rest seats on whatever formfitted hard seat is already there.
