Thanks, y'all. I was able to get all the goo --- turned out to be a combination of West resin and MAS resin! --- out, but used denatured alcohol to good effect. All this without the bad stuff in acetone. Seemed to work well enough --- maybe not as well as acetone, but, for the purpose, it was fine.

Am now "coloring by numbers" very carefully. Red and blue!
