Both Dave and Ross have the answer: get all the goo out, swab out the rest of the resin with acetone, give it some time for the acetone to evaporate (ventilate!) and any remaining resin in the borings should react with the new pour. The last couple days I've been playing "fun with chemicals" and found that acetone is the only effective solvent for epoxy. This is probably a fact known throughout the universe...except for me and the yotz at where I buy my epoxy. I also found out something pretty neat: putting on the sealer coat I waited a while then went back out (opening the garage for ventilation),swabbed down the deck with acetone on a rag, which evened out the coat, probably help penetrate the strip junctions, and made a really sweet looking, even coat. This morning I peeked and the deck coating had set up overnight quite nicely. FYI: AE Yale supplier, Polycon 700 "penetrating" resin, Polycon 22 hardener, 3:1 by volume. To get a real idea of how nice it looked, my better half did a lot of "wows!" "oohs!" and "aaahs" looking at it shine in the morning sun...a far cry from the "that's nice dear" so anyway...there you go...
