: Does anyone know of a stitch and glue kit available that would carry me (@230
: pounds, 6'6" tall, size 15 shoe), and up to 200 pounds of gear? Any
: tips would be greatly appreciated!!! p/s... you'd laugh if you knew what I
: paddled on whitewater!!!:)

I'm large and built a Chesapeake 18 by CLC boats. It is a hard chine boat and it would be easy to stretch it a foot for more load carrying capability. It would be easy to add a 1/2 inch or so to the top of the side pieces for more foot room or to modify the deck for toe room additions. Cockpit size and opening is your choice anyway. Just leave ample room between your deck braces. It was a very easy boat to build, looks good and paddles well. Randy
