: I re-read my post and may not have been very clear - buy a package of the clear plastic drinking cups that come in a plastic bag at the super market - $1.59 for 100 - and only put about 1"or so of resin or hardener in each of the ones you intend to use for the task. That way you can mix the 2 resin and 1 hardener cups together in a single cup for each batch.

Also think about eventually making a sort of "dam" at the bow and stern. Each time you have leftover epoxy from another task, just thicken it and pour it in - sort of a stratified "end pour" as you go, rather than doing it at the end of the project.
