: I remember hearing somewhere (not sure where) of someone having a problem
: with using Titebond II (or any of those yellow carpenter's glues)on the
: deck. The glue isn't heat resistant and the thought was the deck heated up
: while on the top of his truck allowing the stips to shift a little. This,
: supposedly, stressed the fiberglass somewhat and caused some white
: streaks.

The only heat problems I have heard of are with hot melt glue - someone had a boat fall apart in the epoxy phase due to the heat generated in the epoxy cure. Once the epoxy has cured, you shouldn't have any problem with standard wood glue. One additional note on Titbond II - Newfound Woodworks suggests the original Titebond - they say Titebond II leaves stains in cedar. I used original Titebond and had no problem.
