Titebond II wood glue

I remember hearing somewhere (not sure where) of someone having a problem with using Titebond II (or any of those yellow carpenter's glues)on the deck. The glue isn't heat resistant and the thought was the deck heated up while on the top of his truck allowing the stips to shift a little. This, supposedly, stressed the fiberglass somewhat and caused some white streaks. Is this possible? I would think that after glassing inside and out on the deck that the wood would not shift at all.

What glues do you out there use? I don't want to use thickened epoxy. Yellow Carpenter's glue sounds like it should work, but I don't want any problems with the deck.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
