It is too bad to hear that you have to have those big ugly numbers all over your boat. The only sticker I have to have is the license, and as of today I haven't put it on (2 yrs). I carry it in my life jacket. I figure if I get stopped I'll put it on if they make me, otherwise I plan on telling them that it is still under construction, not done varnishing it. I still need to put on another coat varnish (someday).

Actually, when you varnish the numbers with enough coats of varnish they loose that bright appearance and blend into the boat, a little.
