Thanks! I've traded email with Mac, and he seems to have a casual, relaxed view of boatbuilding, considering it more of a means to an end rather than an end in itself. Of course, most of us are building boats so we can get in the water, but based on the number of "repeat offenders" (addicts) hanging out here, I think many of us consider it an end in itself (at least somewhat). I know I experience a bit of a catharsis when I finish a boat. Fortunately, there's a simple remedy; start the next boat. ;-)
