When I think of the gentle handling my kayak is probably going to receive, even George's lightweight layup is probably overkill. I am amazed at how nice epoxy is to work with, and how easily the glass wets out. My only previous experience glassing was with relatively small repairs, a square foot or so tops using polyester resin. I am so excited from the hull glassing and fill experience that I can't wait to finish the deck so I can do it again! How's that for being addicted?
