Following this logic, It would seem precoating has many advantages over direct wetout. The precoat using George's method controls how much epoxy penetrates the wood, prevents glass starving, puts glass as close to the wood as direct method, makes it possible to do last minute fixes of scratches and dings not seen till epoxy wets wood, Fills weave quicker with LESS epoxy which makes a LIGHTER boat. Precoat just makes more sense. Thanks, George and Paul!
