Epoxy doesn't bond well to the aluminium but you could use a urethane adhesive which not only bonds well to aluminium but is stronger and easier to use than epoxy. You just mark the location, scuff the pegs and hull with 80 grit, squeeze on a bead of urethane, put them in place and wait a few minutes. (Full cure takes a couple of hours)
