Sorry to hear about your sensitization. I will try to be very careful around the epoxy. I've used it for years in small quantities as an adhesive, and never took great precautions - not any longer.

I used a water based latex filler. I mix in some wood flour and water based wood stain to get it close in color. I also thought about the stain sitting on the cedar as it dried, so I carefully wiped all excess with a wet rag before letting it dry. It turned out OK. I did wet the hull and check for sanding marks, etc., and it's a good thing I did - There were a few anomolous areas where _something_ was on the hull, darned if I could identify it. It took more sanding to make whatever it was go away. I'd hate to find something like that when the epoxy was going down.
