I used my table saw with a thin kerf blade and had some problems with fence alignment. The finish was rough and the strips were different thicnesses. I set up my router as a milling machine(router above strip) on some MDF and fed both sides of all strips through and made all the strips smooth and the exact same thickness which is VERY important for milling the cove and bead. This was a very simple setup and took about 1.5 hours to mill 1500 lf both sides with very little saw dust. The poor finish that you get from a band saw or a table saw can be made perfect with your router, quickly.
