I made a CLC Mill Creek out of the 1/4" Luaun. I did end up cedar stripping the deck as there was no way the 1/4" Luaun would bend enough for the deck. Stripping wasn't too big of a problem, but did add about an extra weeks worth of work. I also think the stripped deck added some extra weight to the boat (due to fiberglassing both sides and the extra epoxy needed to fill the weave). The 1/4" Luaun also added some weight compared to the spec'd okume.
