Hi Pete:

A table of some kind is *required* for this step. Also helpful are long infeed and outfeed tables to support the very flexible strips so that they stay in the right place as you run them past the blades whirling away at 25krpm. Oh, and to be able to count to ten at the end of the day, use featherboards to keep the stock pressed up against the fence, not your naked hands, please.
