> Pete Pete, I built a table out of scrap wood and a 3/16 piece of plexiglass for a total cost of about $10. The book section of home depot has several excelent books on routers. You can't mill the bead and flute edges without a table. I'm sure your library would have some good books on the subject also. The table's really handy to have for all kinds of woodworking projects.
