I've looked at several possibilities and the one I'mm going to try next is Interlux's 2 part polyurethane clear. I was speaking to a manager at the West Marine Store in Portland, ME and he was saying that he and his wife had just finished repqinting the hull of their sailboat using the dark blue with the clear over it. They said by following the directions the brushing went quite well and the job looked like it had been sprayed. I figured since I had spent so much time prepping my Chesepeake 18 hull for painting and the stuff is coming off by looking at it the extra fuss of the 2 part can't be any worse. I'd be interested to see if anyoone has tried this paint nad what success they've had (or not had).
