I had a sail made according to the specs in the plans. I often reef it to reduce the area. I only noticed the high riding bow when my wife was paddling and she is much lighter than me. I imagine it would be the same while sailing. The boat is fun, I just would like to make it more friendly under sail so I don't get black and blue from trying to hike out against the coaming to offset the significant healing. I thought outriggers may help, but don't want to invest the time and $ if it is not advisable.

Thanks for your comments,

Mark
