I think the two problems are different , so I'll deal with them one at a time. First the delamination. It could be either epoxy or polyester. To tell sand with a orbital and smell. epoxy and polyester smell different . If it smells like Bondo, it's polyester, epoxy has less strong and sweeter smell. However the repair is the same cut out old section of the delamintion. wipe down with laquer thinner,to remove impurities. fit a peice of gass to the new hole, and epoxy in place, the other fellow was right, epoxy will stick to polyester, but not the other way around. After you put the pacth in cut a larger piece and glss that over the hole with some overlap . You can then go back afer it's all hard and smoothit out feathering in the edges and recoat. AL
