No problemo; I started it, so maybe I can fix it

I drive a Pygmy Coho. I wouldn't call it roomy in the foot region either, but certainly not cramped. My heels have to touch, and my toes are splayed out 90 degrees to the hull. When I test-paddled in my street shoes it was a very tight fit, but in my booties it's enough that I can wiggle my toes and such. My maximum time in it so far has been 6 hours + or -, but my feet seem to handle it OK. By then I have other aches and pains, but I wouldn't lay them on the boat.

My splayed feet had to point forward, rather than straight out to the hull sides. It seemed all right for the couple of minutes I was in it, but I haven't taken the opportunity to paddle around in the Guillemot. The water here's still too cold to get dunked in just for funzies.

I also wasn't used to the butt-shaped molded plastic seat; those things really 'grab' one. I think I have more of an Adirondeck-chair-type butt myself, so I'm thinking the particular seat/footrest combination in a given boat may make more of a difference than one might think, as far as fit and comfort are concerned.

I'm not at all sure I've answered your question very well. I just didn't want to continue any impression that the G-boats are too small for all 6 footers; it's clear to me now it can be done. Hope I didn't scare anyone off.
