Fitting into a guillemot?

A while back I discovered that I could not get myself into a Guillemot. My feet were too big and my legs too long. I was wearing street shoes instead of booties, and at the time I thought maybe that would make a difference, but that hasn't been tested. I'm 6'2"/175 lbs., with size 13 feet, and I'm not nearly as flexible as I used to be.

A longer cockpit would have made a difference as far as getting in, but I think the Guillemot is also too small for me in the foot area as well; it looks shallower there than in my own boat where the footroom is already tight. It's a eal shame as it seems like a nice sporty boat, but it may not fit the larger types without mods.

I guess I'm recommending you find someone else's G-boat.(How DO you pronounce that anyway?) See if you can fit yourself into it, or if not, figure out why, and maybe make the changes needed. It may be worth it; G-boat owners seem to love their boats.

No problemo; I started it, so maybe I can fix it
