Hey Dan,

You can use 3/4 by 3/4 for the battens. About the sheer clamps, you sure about the 1" x 4"? I'm pretty sure that they're 3/4 x 3/4 (or 1" x 1" if you like.)

BTW, did the plywood arrive ok, without damage?
