As Joe mentioned (below) it's blush. There's no "maybe" here. All epoxies blush. Unless it's spacificially a "no blush" epoxy. You have to wash the surfaces before doing the taping. Once it's clean, it really holds strong. I like the fiberglass reinforced packing tape because you can really pull on it. Cheapest place to get packing tape is at the office discount stores, not the hardware store.
