There are many ways to tape the deck to the hull - clear packing tape, duct tape, and even masking tape. I have used several methods and have found that 2" wide masking tape works as well as any, and it is probably the cheapest route to go. Several pieces along the seam while cinching it up tight will hold it in place, while a single long piece along the length of the seam keeps the epoxy from seeping through. If you have had problems with tape refusing to adhere for any length of time, it may be that blush has formed. Be sure to wash the area of the seam well before taping it up. Joe Greenley
