I am at about the same place as you are stipping the Guillemot. I have the sheer strips on and have just installed the next strip. The glue is now drying. I had hoped to avoid the cheater strips in the stern but decided at the last minute that one should go in there to remove tension on the strips. I had no problem anchoring the strips to form 16. The strips came up right against all the forms. How far away is your strip from form 16? Don
