Robert,

It was a very short catamaran with a sliding rigger.

Here is a picture of my wife and her boat.
I've posted this before, if you want to talk why don't we get onto email.
This is a little off topic for a kayak forum.

The boat is strip planked, the cross beams also.
11' x 5', not as light as I wanted at 50#.
The boat was designed to fit in the back of a pickup.
The rigger set up turned out to be very much like a Virus row boat. http://virusboats.jimdo.com/skiffs/skiff-wing/ Somewhere in there site is a picture of their rigger system.
