Speaking of "that time of the year", I recently cleaned up my garage and chopped up clear walnut, maple, oak, mahogany and more. I just cracked with the mess. I'm sure many of you have wood collections of great wood and finally it has to go. My neighbor threw a solid mahogany bed out and it didn't even hit the ground and I had it. All clear. A million planned uses and finally I just had to let it go. I burn wood as a supplement in the winter and it will go there. I have more in my basement but enough is enough. I always look for furniture being thrown away and I have picked up great wood that way. Its so nice seeing my garage clean again.
