Rob, thanks for the feedback. That is always a challenge. For people that mostly enjoy the art of a picture the transitions distract and often compromise the composition. For others that are more focused on the story the transitions create action. Young people tend to like transitions more also. For my trip slide shows I don't mind transitions because it is more about the story. This collection of images in my mind was more about the art and sense of place, and the experience was solo lending itself to a more contemplative and self-paced viewing. I have considered redoing it with just one simple transition used (fade) and minimal movement in the images.
