I like bungies between the rear hatch and the cockpit. Mostly because I can put all my junk behind me my photos look much better with a clear foredeck. I also have foredeck bungies, but I keep them as clear as possible.

If the rear deck is fairly flat it is very possible to create two perfectly spaced bungie loops to slip a greenland paddle under for deep water entry and outrigger support.

I'm not at home at the moment, so I can't show the setup... but imagine a bungie running parallel to the cl through the Maroskes as well as the diagonals. That is how I have this boat set up now.
