Nice looking seat.
I always glue them down with contact cement and can't see why anyone would mess with anything else. Play around with fit and location prior to glue. You can remove it and move it easily if you have a rigid putty knife. Never will blow out on the highway or in a swim.
Cut a vee groove drain down the bottom center for easy water removal.
