That looks quite robust with plenty of screws. Having a hatch close to access the screws is a good idea. If the plastic knobs turn out to be too time consuming to engage the threads, you can also use screws with knobs instead of regular heads; I used them on a kayak sailing kit about 10 years ago - very easy to handle. Having them captive on a short thread was a good idea that I learned the hard way . . .

A few years back I looked at making a sectional but didn't think of a hatch. Instead I thought of using heavy-duty hook-over hinges and compression catches. It would have been a quick assembly, but I could see it loosening up after a few trips so I didn't proceed.
