I finished the Maroske fitttings today. First I drilled out the filled holes with a pilot hole and an 11/32" bit, each fitting pair of holes was 1" apart on centers. I used the 5/16" glue sticks wrapped in 1" wide Teflon pipe tape. Then the carbon fiber tubing was slipped over and taped to the glue sticks with masking tap and pulled through the holes in the deck.

The CF tubing was painted with unfilled resin and then with resin filled with microspheres (very thick, and stiff like cookie dough). Unfilled resin was syringed into the carbon fiber pulled through the deck.

The calipers were set to 1".

When the resin was green hard the glue sticks were pulled out and the excess cut off with a hacksaw blade. The deck was sanded and a counter sink used to bevel the internal edges.
