Skin-on-Frame: adding skeg to a yost see bee

Long time lurker here. I built a yost see bee, wood frames and stringers covered with 18 oz pvc. Unfortunately, at some point in the build the keel went slightly crooked and the boat drifts to the right. How can I attach a skeg to correct for the drift? This wasn't a serious project (I did it more to learn the skills for the next kayak I want to build) and I don't want to get into an elaborate fix. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Daniel
