Whales are powerful, athletic, intelligent, and far ranging. They deserve more majestic names. Now consider cats. There are lots of great cat names for things: Jaguar, Cougar, Puma, Hobbes.... Each instantly brings to mind a mental image of the animal named. Now take my stupid cat.... please! The self-obsessed sack of terds is a waste of oxygen. She paws all over my bladder every morning 1.5 hours before I have to get up, stinks up the upstairs, and leaves hair puke in all the wrong places (which leaves permanent stains by the way). Is there NO jargon justice in this world?!
