Strip: It is Tough to Name a Boat after a Whale *PIC*
I wanted to name my Baidarka build after a whale. There are not a lot of good names for boats that call up the mental image of a whale. There is "Orca" of course, but there are too many of them out there. The Quintessential Orca was the name of the boat in the movie Jaws. Too many whale names conjure up other mental images. Blue, Fin, Humpback, Killer, Pilot, Right, and ahh... Sperm bring to mind things other than a whale.
After viewing a youtube video on belugas in the Sanguenay Fjord, I decided on "Beluga".
