It was one of those nothing to fear but fear itself moments. Mistakes are usually built up to epic proportions in my head only to be reduced to doable when the hands get moving.

: Nothing about Kayaks is the darkest day of your life. Everything

: Then I crushed the aft end of the hull (no glass) in the garage
: door (closing it manually) - repaired it.
: I have also completely reglassed a stitch and glue (left it out in
