: I have fibreglassed the hull of my Expedition Sport, added an
: abrasion patch and 2 fill coats. The initial glassing didn't go
: as well as planned, the garage temperature cooled and by the
: time I squeegied one section of the cloth the epoxy was too

: The result is that there are some slight waves in the cloth, and
: after some sanding I am beginning to sand into the cloth in the
: high parts of the abrasion patch.

: I want to avoid too much weight through a thick epoxy layer, the
: question is, am I better continuing to sand into the high spots
: of the abrasion layer to establish an even surface and then give
: another fill coat, or do I stop sanding now and fill the low
: spots with resin and accept that I'm stuck with extra epoxy (and
: weight) due to my earlier stupidity?

Hi Allen,In Nick's book he talks about a "moaning chair" I put one in my shop and swear by it.It got me out of more than one pickle, enjoy your build and good luck Nick R.
