A friend of mine brings his launch over from the UK sometimes. Cruising speed is 35 knots. Cruising consumption is two miles to the gallon, but that is nautical miles.

I went with him to the pier to fuel the boat once and he was met by an oil tanker lorry and just emptied the entire tank into the boat.

It is annoying that these boats are entitled to use red (low taxed) diesel.

Absolutely revolting.
